Fue genial participar en las fotos que Eme Collado realizó para crear el cartel del concierto de We Came Out Like Tigers y Hyedra. Casi acabo rodando monte abajo, pero mereció la pena porque al final no sabíamos que foto escoger. Abajo tenéis la elegida.
A todo esto, el concierto será en la sala Mogambo por tan sólo 5 euros, nada por un bolo así de bien!

It was great to participate in the photo session that EmeCollado made to create the poster of We CameOut LikeTigers and Hyedra’s concert. Almost fell down the hill, but it was worth it because in the end we did not know which picture to choose.Below you have the choice.
All in all, the concert will be in Mogambo for just 5 euros, so well!

Volvemos a la carga, con un buen pretexto. Este verano, he estado acompañando al grupo All Became Dust en la grabación de su primer largo. Mi función? desarrollar la parte gráfica y visual de este proyecto que tánto he disfrutado. Sin embargo, mi intención hoy es haceros llegar su música, que ha dado un paso firme hacia delante, mostrando su esencia, explotando sus límites para darnos un gran regalo.
Por ahora sólo pueden darnos un pequeño avance de su disco, pero para los que se sientan tan atraídos como yo por su música, sabed que este sábado 26 podréis verles en acción en Mogambo (San Sebatián) a las 20.30. Y para los que no puedan acudir, en breves tendremos más adelantos.
I’m back, with a good excuse. This summer, I have been accompanying the group All Became Dust in the recording of their first LP. My role? develop the graphics and visual of this project that I enjoyed so much. However, my intention today is to let you know their music, which has taken a firm step forward, showing its essence, exploiting its limits to give us great gift.
For now, they only can give us a little preview of his album, but for those who feel so attracted by their music like me, know that this Saturday 26th you can see them in action in Mogambo (San Sebatián) at 20.30. And for those who can not attend, we will have more stuff soon.

Os traigo cositas frescas entre proyecto y proyecto. Hoy os quería presentar el video de la colección de la diseñadora de moda Patricia Ferreira.
La verdad es que fue una sorpresa cuando Patricia, la cual apenas conocía, se puso en contacto conmigo para hacer de modelo. Ante mis primeras dudas (no soy modelo, basicamente) le dije que sí, y desde luego fue un gran acierto.
Lo mejor? La gente que he conocido Patricia y todo el equipo, gente que de verdad da gusto trabajar con ellos.
Todavía no tengo en mi poder las fotos de la colección, pero os traigo un adelanto.

I bring fresh stuff between projects. Today I wanted to present the video of the fashion designer Patricia Ferreira.
The truth is that it was a surprise when Patricia, who barely knew, called me to be her model. Before my first dubts (I’m not model, basically) I said yes, and certainly it was a great success.
The best? The people I met: Patricia and the whole team, people who truly was a pleasure to work with them.
I haven’t in my possession the photos of the collection yet, but I bring a breakthrough.

El día 2 de mayo asistí al concierto de The XX en Barcelona, Poble Espanyol, gracias a un magnífico regalo de cumpleaños, de nuevo, gracias Manu!
He de decir que fue un espectáculo maravilloso, arriba os dejo un vídeo en el que podréis ver cómo empezó el concierto y más abajo el concierto completo.

Hace ya unos cuantos días que Karl Lagerfeld presentó su cortometraje a cerca de los inicios de Coco Chanel, encarnada en esta ocasión por Keira Knightley. En el que podemos ver la colección crucero introducida en la historia que se nos presenta.

A few days ago that Karl Lagerfeld presented his short film about the beginnings of Coco Chanel, played this time by Keira Knightley. Where we can see the cruise collection introduced in the story.
The context puts us in the opening of the first store of Gabrielle Chanel and her sister Antoinette in Deauville, I won’t tell yo more 🙂

Me ha fasinado la colección de Nafsika Skourti, que ha trabajo bajo un concepto muy interesante, así lo explica:
«Pensé en un hombre aburrido en una oficina que desea estar en cualquier otro lugar. Éste fue el contraste con el que trabajé- usando los tejidos como una metamorfosis de estos dos estados de humor: la aburrida vida empresarial (tejidos de traje) y una vida mejor (colores). El proceso fue evolucionando, por lo que los bordados fueron el nexo entre los dos»
«I was thinking about a bored man in an office, wishing he was someplace else. So, that was the contrast I was working with – using the fabrics as metaphors for the two moods: boring business life (suit fabrics) and better life (colours). Eventually it all developed, so that the embroidery connected the two together.»
